Carolyn – Senior Dental Assistant

I have been working with Dr Fleming and Dr Horng since 2001, with roles spanning reception, dental assistance and related duties

Currently I am Dr Horng’s dental assistant, while I also oversee the clinical team and clinical operations. This position suits me to a tee, as I like to be super organised and believe in high standards. There are certain standards that a dental surgery must meet, but my job is to make sure we go over and beyond this. This involves constant auditing and monitoring our systems so our standard meets ‘EXCELLENCE’.

I am qualified with a diploma in primary school teaching. After a decade as supervisor in food services at Monash Medical Centre, I also hold various hospitality certifications.

My interests are watching my two sons grow up, cooking, spending time with my partner Darryl of six years, music, the beach and fishing. I support the Hawthorn Football Club.
